DESS® Screw Taps for Active Hex implants Screw taps are used to create a thread channel in bone, especially in dense bone. It includes different markings to prepare the drill to the correct depth. DESS ® screw taps are available for different platforms (3.0, NP/3.5, RP/4.3, RP/5.0, and WP/5.5) and lengths (7-10mm, 8.5-18mm, 10-15mm, 11.5-15mm) depending on the length of the implant.
