A Year of Growth and Commitment: Reflecting on 2025
I’m Jenelle Eaton, and I’ve spent the last decade in dentistry with one simple belief: customer experience drives growth. I care deeply about service, relationships, and solving real problems for clinicians and labs. Over the past two years at DESS, I’ve had the opportunity to grow, contribute, and be part of a company that truly values innovation, partnership, and people. Outside of work, I’m a wife and mom to two boys who keep me grounded and remind me why supporting people always comes first.
As 2025 comes to a close, it feels natural to reflect on the progress, challenges, and relationships that shaped the year. This was a year of growth, both professionally and personally, with a focus on innovations that make life easier and more efficient for clinicians, lab owners, and dental teams.

DessLoc® x Neodent® A Powerful Overdenture Solution
One of the most impactful additions to our 2025 lineup was the expansion of DessLoc compatibility for Neodent systems. This update builds on our low profile, high retention overdenture design while supporting the workflows clinicians and labs rely on every day.
DessLoc for Neodent features durable titanium nitride coating, six cuff height options from 1.0 to 6.0 mm, and seamless integration with Neodent GM connections. The result is a streamlined solution that supports soft tissue health, simplifies restorative planning, and delivers consistent, predictable outcomes for overdenture cases.
DESS® MUA and MUA+ Evolving for Real World Practice
In 2025, we introduced a newly redesigned generation of multi unit abutments, including the updated MUA and MUA+. These enhancements were shaped by direct feedback from clinicians and focused on improving everyday efficiency, aesthetics, and reliability.
The new design features a smoother collar and sleeker emergence profile to support cleaner soft tissue transitions and improved esthetic outcomes. Clinicians also benefit from greater flexibility in angulation and easier seating, helping reduce chair time while maintaining confidence in fit and performance. MUA+ builds on this foundation with PerioCoat® ZrN, offering added durability and wear resistance for full arch and complex cases.
To ensure flexibility across workflows, our standard classic MUA design remains available alongside the new MUA and MUA+ options. This gives clinicians the freedom to choose the solution that best fits each case, without changing what already works.
ASC Blanks: Powering Customization
Custom restoration is the heart of dental artistry. With the introduction of ASC blanks in 2025, we gave dental technicians the ability to blend creative freedom with universal compatibility. These blanks streamline milling workflows without compromising precision, accelerating turnaround times, improving efficiency, and delivering a consistently impeccable fit and finish.

DESS® Fiduciary Markers: A New Digital Solution
Another key addition to our 2025 lineup was the launch of fiduciary markers. These precision engineered components support accurate digital workflows for implant planning and guided surgery.
Fiduciary markers act as stable reference points during scanning, helping software accurately register implant position and angulation. This improves scan alignment, reduces registration errors, and supports more predictable planning and execution.
Designed for full arch cases, edentulous workflows, guided surgery, and advanced CAD CAM applications, these markers help clinicians and lab partners align intraoral scans with confidence, even in complex cases. The result is smoother integration, fewer errors, and greater consistency from planning through restoration.
